A country I would like to visit:


Sometime ago I have desire of visiting Costa Rica, since my sister does a few years  is travelling for the world and the most beautiful photos has sent them of this pretty country.

The truth I don`t know about and there is called me the curiosity very much his name, according to the history (or rather wikipedia) the name of Costa Rica owes to itself that the Spanish conquerors were thinking to find a great fortune, of there his name, for a " rich coast in gold ".

I would like to be able to visit parks and national reservations. To the being a Central American country, the climate and his landscapes must be particularly beautiful. But I am not sure if it might live there in a lot of time. To the being a country of the alone tropic has two stations, a summer and a winter. While I am an autumn boy.

Costa Rica has a great tradition in jewels and gold, also very interesting characteristics concerning his archaeology and the first human local accessions date back of 12.200 years. It is incredible, though nothing overcomes Chile in this area, since the most ancient information in America is Chilean with 12.800 years of antiquity.

A FAVOURITE ARTIST / PIECE OF ART

My favorite work calls "the blood of the fish", and it is of an Austrian artist called gustav klimt, I can say that it is my work preferred by many reasons, principally for that it appeared in my life in a particular moment, and it was one of the motives to want to be a student of art.

He is a Art Noveau artist, a typical style for his details and ornamentation, while this work does not possess many typical details to this movement It manages to create a very particular atmosphere, leaving a water sensation, that I captivate myself when tape-worm thirteen years old.

It is a pen drawing of small dimensions, (that looks like an engraving), probably this visual game was what I am called so much my attention, I like in general his work, but this piece is very slightly typical of an artist as (Other works are the kiss, or the tree of the life).

I remember when I knew the blood of the fish, I felt that the artist could speak about sensations and colors without need to form them in the work, a genius for my.

I have a strange relation with this photo, on the one side it seems to me fascinating but for other side Also disturbing, probably for this reason it is that I like it so much.

It was taken by a friend, trip partner in San Pedro de Atacama, in one moment of lonely, I remember this day but I do not have memories of him taking this photo.

It was a long and sunny day, already it was falling the Sun and the park was closed, we were the last ones in that zone and were walking towards the exit with the safety managers (We were the last ones to go out of the park)
I think that for the first time I could feel the noise of the wind, the desert landscape and the shades of the Sun.

In the image it is achieved to see distantly a silhouette, -Me-, And the whole environment nothing more than stones and land (Desert landscape while this one appearing the late afternoon).

It was taken it does less than one year, in October, 2016; It seems a little time time but I feel that it has been great from that date.

My favourite music album / song

My favorite albun calls blue lines, and is of a band so called massive attack.

Massive attack is a band formed in united kingdom, created for Robert del Naja y Grant Marshall,
They are considered to be the parents of the trip-hop, A musical style with electronic bases but with fort influences of jazz, hip-hop and soul.

I remember perfectly the day when listens blue lines for the first time, It was as if the time in these 45 minutes was stopping completely, The disc will launch in 1991, and this at the time one I change completely my way of understanding the music.

When I knew to massive attack it was in full adolescence, It implies many associate feelings, good and sad feelings. I relate blue lines with the memories of the first love, (for good and for the bad way).

In November, 2010, massive attack came to Chile in a festival called SUE, Santiago Urban Electronic, I leave them a video of that day and with total safety I can say that it was a made dream reality. Enjoy.

My favourite piece of technology.

the object I choose is one dispositive very similar to a disk, same disk of computer, but somewhat a different function. is designed to transform one normal tv in smart tv.
I got it a little while ago, very little truth, By wanting to give better uses to the internet connection and the netflix account.
In this way my weekends are becoming days of movies, I think this is the first step to adult life, hahaha.But it only comes down to that, I use it when I have time to do nothing, weekends or before holidays.

I like it because it is friendly to use, Is like programming or using a cell phone, has android as an operating system, so nothing from another world.Now, it is not something of first necessity and could be perfectly replaceable. So if there was nothing I would change, except for my weekends as a young adult.

Why did you choose this career/study programme?

When I was a kid, I whished construct buildings, because I loved the LEGO game, my dream job was to be an architect.

When it postulates to the university already it had left this idea, And already in the school it had changed my mind, And I thought in studying something related to art, (Though in some moment the scale inclined to marine biology because I love the sea).

But finally I decided to postulate to some artistic career, in Valparaiso, so it would combine my two loves, the fine art whit the view of the sea, as it my teacher in the school was an incredible motivation.

Now, the experience has been mixed, because it is my second time studying and it is very different from the first one, both in good things and in bad things; but in general I can say that it has been an agreeable challenge.

To  conclude, now I see the things in a different way, since it might work linking myself with persons and to be an influence of the same form my teacher it was, maybe already I am considering the pedagogy, but the truth, I don´t know.

Blog session 1 "My Auto Biography"

My name is Freddy, I was Born on October 21st, 1987. I studied fine art at EBAV (Academy of fine arts, Valparaiso) from 2011 to 2013 and three years ago studied here, visual art.

In the past when I was only a child, studied in a catholic school, an later that in a humanistic school, called Barros Arana.

My family is my mom and my little brother at home, but I have one sister but she lives in Costa Rica now, she is a free spirit, and all year long travels to diferent countries, she is a great person, her name is Aileen.

In my free time, I prefer to sleep, or maybe only rest, because is too much the activity in a singular day, between work, student life and the boyfriend ;)

Well, I love to eat and cook, maybe drink something on the weekend, watch one movie at home, or read. I like the time at home.
